The GS Drift Sub is a cylindrical gauge designed to verify the internal diameter (ID) of pipes such as casing, tubing, and drill pipe. This tool is dropped from the drill floor into the pipe and pumped down until it seats in the GS Drift Sub, where it is caught securely.

Additionally, the GS Drift Sub can be equipped with various brushes or wipers on the tail of a solid drift nose. This ensures that the internal diameter of the pipe is cleaned effectively while the cleaning drift assembly is pumped down.
