Unity’s Compact Shear & Seal (CSS) BOP Valve is a lightweight, modular system for surface and subsea well interventions. At just under 1 tonne and 50% lighter than conventional designs, it simplifies handling and logistics while improving safety by reducing heavy lifts and access issues.

Available in 5-1/8” or 6-3/8” bore sizes, the CSS supports slickline, e-line, coiled tubing up to 2-7/8”, and more. It delivers pipe ram and shear ram functionality, with modular seal blocks for flexible operation. Field-replaceable inserts allow quick seal changes or size adjustments.

Its compact design integrates actuators and pistons, reducing footprint and enabling easy in-field maintenance—no crane required. When paired with Unity’s RSAS or SIS systems, it enables efficient rigless intervention with minimal space requirements.

CSS is offered as part of Unity’s shallow intervention service or available for individual sale/rental, with crossovers and training provided.
